Las Vegas, Southwest Airlines and Marriott were the big travel winners ofat least according to Yahoo's year-in-review search data released this week. The rankings, which reveal what Yahoo users are searching for most when traveling, are intriguing, but hardly surprising when you consider the allure of Sin City as well as the appeal of a budget carrier like Southwest.
Not to mention Marriott has developed a reputation as an affordable, quality hospitality provider. While Yahoo's rankings spotlight what travelers are typically looking for in a destination, airline and accommodation, keep in mind that the statistics don't take into what travelers are looking for on other search engines.
